Dances start at 8 pm and finish at 10.15 pm (10.30 pm in summer) with a break for tea and biscuits.
There is usually live music with a variety of well known local bands.
We have plenty of experienced dancers who are willing to help newcomers.
You don't need to bring a partner.
Entrance is £3.00 (£3.50 for non-members.)
Membership is £2 per annum (Jan to Dec).
Please note that in line with 'child protection' initiatives and legislation,
no-one under the age of 18 can be admitted, except with a parent or responsible adult.

In very bad weather dances may be cancelled because the village hall
can be accessed only via minor roads - please check before travelling.

There are times when your feet may leave the ground (both at the same time) or you may feel that the world is rotating a little faster than usual. But don't worry, these things don't happen to newcomers. In past years we had a genuine open fire in cold weather, but we got smoked out once too often!

Once you are reasonably competent you may wish to attend the regular Willand Thursday or Saturday dances. Willand has one of the best dance halls in the area.
There are also occasional folk dances in Exeter, including contra dance.
