Tesco, Honiton (24 hours on some card operated pumps) just off the A375 road to Sidmouth as you leave Honiton. 7 miles from Sidmouth. From Sidmouth take the A375 through Sidbury, continue for 7 miles. Turn right at the first roundabout as you come down the long hill into Honiton. (0845) 677 9359.
Aylesbeare ESSO garage on left hand side of the A3052 coast road about 8 miles from Sidmouth travelling west towards Exeter. Not 24 hours. (01395) 239386.
Seaton ESSO and BP (for lpg/autogas) garage, just off the A3052 (but visible from it) along the A3052 travelling east from Sidford, 6 miles. Not 24 hours but one pump can be card operated 24 hours/day (01297) 22026.
There is also an ESSO station with good opening hours at the Spar shop in nearby Ottery St Mary opposite the new Sainsbury Store - about 8 miles from Sidmouth but you need to know how to get there. (01404) 815755.
