The Institute is 5 minutes walk
from Hind St car park, now a part of Sainsbury's. For Sat-Nav, use EX11 1BW. Hind St is one-way, the loop comprises Hind St, Mill St and a small part of Canaan Way (which is two-way). The postcode is quite accurate for The Institute but if your Sat Nav will accept coordinates then use N50:45:05 W3:16:36 for the Institute or N50:45:06 W3:16:52 for Sainsbury's car park (free after 7.30pm at the time this webpage was produced). |
From Exeter along the A30, take the Daisymount junction B3174 to Ottery St Mary. This will bring you into Barrack Road. Turn left into Canaan Way, then right into Hind Street.
From Honiton, take the B3177 off the A30 - this brings you into Ottery along North St. Keep going downhill past the Church, through the town centre, into Mill St (one way), turn right into Canaan Way then right again into Hind St.
From Sidmouth, turn off the A3052 at the Bowd (pub) towards Tipton St John and Ottery St Mary. Follow the road for about 6 miles and you will enter Ottery St Mary driving down Tip Hill. Turn left at the bottom of the hill and drive along Mill St (see map below).
