For your amusement (I don't expect a reply) I have just read through all your pages regarding what most regulars still refer to as the Festival and very largely agree with your sentiments (I had only glanced through the site previously).

Like many regulars I had perceived the withdrawal of Steve Heap and Mrs Casey's as not much short of a national disaster, and time has proven us right, despite the hard work of the current organisers. The best (and most impossible) plan would surely to try and get Mr Heap involved again, but as you say, Sidmouth doesn't seem interested - yet under his leadership it really was the best festival in England! Alas, I shall not be attending this year.
